Brands, when looking to utilize User-Generated Content (UGC) and lacking customer testimonials, may find themselves facing the dilemma of dealing with expensive influencers and spending time to find niche-specific content creators. An interesting solution to this is employing freelance UGC creators.

If you're considering this option, aim to have a diverse range of perspectives and creativity that deeply resonates with your target audience, which can be particularly valuable when relevant influencers in your niche are scarce or beyond your budget.


By collaborating with freelance UGC creators, you can tap into a rich source of authentic content that not only enhances your brand's visibility but also fosters a genuine connection with your audience. Once you have this content, you can further monetize it by using it in your advertising campaigns.




The results that we are seeing with Advantage+ Audience are indeed intriguing. That outperforms broad targeting in key areas such as cost per result, conversion rate, and engagement rate, in some tests. However, it would be prudent to consider how the effectiveness of Advantage+ Audience might vary across different industries, product types, or between local businesses versus those with a national reach.


Furthermore, while Meta might allocate a sizeable portion of the budget to Advantage+ Audience in the tests, I'm curious if we also compare the performance data of that campaign against one that utilizes standard interest targeting and that has been optimized through multiple iterations of split testing in the past. It's particularly relevant the question of whether campaigns that have been refined to target specific niches might still yield better results than those same campaigns but with Advantage+ Audience.


In the meantime, we still need more data.


To grow your business with the help of social media in 2024, I will share with you, the most relevant points from Semrush's Social Media Trends Report 2024.


1st – Publish more User-Generated Content (UGC): UGC seems to be more authentic, trustworthy, and influential to the user, than professional content. You can publish more unrefined, “behind the scenes” video content, create relatable content sourced from your customer’s real experiences, comment on relevant content made by your users, or influencers in your industry, show examples of the personalization customers can have with your products or services, etc.


2nd – Use the Winning Social Media Formula (UGC + Content Quality + AI): Leverage AI to help you create and improve your social media content and campaigns. For example, you can use AI to generate catchy headlines, summarize or rephrase the content, generate images, or personalize ads to the preferences and behaviours of different types of users.
